Sprayed-on Radiant Barrier

Has anyone used the sprayed-on radiant barrier that is applied to the underside of the roof deck? Are there meaningful energy savings versus the initial cost?

the spray is hard to measure the effectiveness. there are different paints that have different qualities. plus, how it is installed has a big impact on the overall effectiveness. radiant barrier foil is the way to go. it works as long as you don't sandwich it between two products. it must have an air gap on one side. here is some info on comparing radiant barrier spray to radiant barrier foil. http://atticfoil.com/radiant-barrier-spray.htm
