ice buildup on roof

I remember seeing an article in the paper about ice build up on roof eaves. We have an inside corner that's a problem. Please help.

prevent this by installing insulation baffles on the underside of the roof sheathing. create an open channel for the cold air from soffit vents on the room or attic.
