I had a ice dam on my roof, then during a thaw water was coming inside my wall & windows going into my basement, now after 5 years that bedroom wall is getting colder & colder, Did that Batt insulation get wet and in doing so started disinterating the insulation? I live in a townhouse development and I need an expert opion? Thank You

the worst thing that could happen to insulation is to get wet. it might cause molds and other stuff that might ruin your wall and surrounding areas. you should replace the insulation there and make sure the insulation won't be exposed to water.
