taping seams on wall insulation

Do the seams need to be taped when piecing together sections of fiberglass roll insulation? If so, what kind should be used? I have tried duck tape but it did not stick very well to the facing on the insulation. Thanks!

you can actually find tapes that are specifically made for taping insulation. check it out in you local home center.
