california home along coast. built in 55' ; major remodel about 5yrs ago. insulation in attic above 10'x14' bdrm, and also below in raised foundation/ crawl space. i even added extra r13 over exisitng (looks like 8"); double pane anderson sliding windows, caulked and sealed. room is ne corner of house...only thing i can thing is origianl two exterior walls to this room are very poorly insulated. any ideas? other possibilities? wothh getting prof. thermo / air infiltration survey done?

just add insulation to the room. this will make way for the room to trap the heat and make the room warm. you can choose from three of the common insulation types; fiberglass, spray foam or cellulose.
