i’m working on an insulation system that would consist of spraying ½” of closed cell foam on the exterior walls or against the roof/deck on a closed envelop design and fill the remainder of the cavity with cellulose or a bibs system etc. foam would adhere components together.
i’m also working on a system where we would spray closed cell foam in the eve cavity that would adhere’ the roof/deck to the rafter, top plate and ceiling joists if applicable. naturally we would have blocking outside the eve to spray against and an installed vent baffle as needed.
is there any information on the effectiveness of these types of systems?

i had never tried those systems yet on our projects. but i do think its viable. better for you to ask a local contractor if they had tried it at their end.
