i have a completed 3 car garage with 12 ft. ceiling, living area above. would like to make both warmer. heater-yes, more insullation/sheetrock? ty!

yes, you have to have some kind of insulation on both portions. put ceiling insulation on the ceiling of the living room and the garage.depending on your budget, you may consider having fiberglass insulation.
