i read that cellulose insulation is a good sound barrier. we have a disabled daughter who is very noisy. she likes to yell early in the morning waking our other children. i wonder if it would be a good idea to install blow-in cellulose insulation in the walls surrounding her room. would this be okay or would it make her room too insulated from the rest of the house? by this i mean, would her room not get as warm in winter or cool in summer as the rest of the house? we use a wood stove in winter and a swamp cooler in summer. we keep the doors to the bedrooms open while cooling and heating so that the heat and or cool air can travel through the house. any advise would be appreciated.
