use of scrunched plastic shopping bags as insulation (?) | |
is there any reason why one should not use scrunched-up plastic shopping bags (grocery, kmart, walmart) as a form of insulation in a home? our hvac vents are boxed-in in the garage and other locations in the house and i wonder if we could use said bags as a stuffed-in insulation surrounding these vent pipes...or possible between studs in the garage or greenhouse.
