completed attic roofing insulation in a tropical climate

my attic which was previously used as a storeroom is being converted into a bedroom and is very hot. i am about to insulate it but not sure whether to use spray foam or foam insulating boards or fibreglass. the roof is of aluminium, the rafters are visible.

if it is hot already, adding up more insulation will just make it hotter. it needs ventilation and some kind of air conditioning for it to be suitable for being a bedroom.
