How do I insulate an overhang?

Certain areas at the front and back of the 2nd floor of my condo are extremely cold in the winter. The front overhang includes a bathroom and bedroom wall and the back is the master bedroom closet that actually gets an ice buildup in the corner. Can I put insulation underneath the overhanging section. What should I use and should I put in a vapour barrier (and where)?

yes, you can put insulation there. you can use fiberglass which is very easy to work with. but just make sure that there won;t be any tendency that the insulation will be exposed to water.
