years ago an ol' carpenter i knew used to tell me about a product called "airball" which consisted of a goopy solution that came in a five-gallon bucket that could be used for anchoring, patching just about anything. if, for example, one wanted to patch a hole in a wall, one simply slathered some "airball" on the wall around the hole, cut out a patch in burlap, slathered some of the mysterious liquid on the patch, stick it over ther hole, let it dry and in no time you have a very strong patch resistant to most impact force. i think i recall it was a product manufactured by "carnation" and had the consistency of heavy cream. anyone have any idea of what i am talking about and whether or not the product still exists?
